In 2010 Manchester Academy of Fine Arts launched it's new Friends Society 'Friends of Manchester Academy of Fine Arts'. This exciting new society was designed to build upon the existing 'Annual Subscribers'

The new society was formally launched at the opening of MAFA's autumn exhibition at Gallery Oldham by John McCombs, the Academys' President. The aim of the society is to give those people interested in the visual arts an opportunity to become involved with Manchester Academy through an exclusive program of events.
